Taurine (Tau) is a simple structure of sulfur-containing amino acid in animals, chemical name is 2-taurine, the molecular formula is ho3s-ch2-ch2-nh2, the molecular weight is 125, odorless slightly acid, its dilute solution is neutral, to the heat stability,in human and animal bile and cholic acid binding form exists; In brain, ovary, heart, liver, milk, pinecone, pituitary, retina,adrenal gland and other tissues, it exists in free form, with a total amount of 12-18g, but it is not involved in protein synthesis.
