This product is Aesculus chinensis Bge. And Aesculus chinensis in Jianjiang Bge.var.chekiangensis (Hu et Fang) Fang, or Aesculus chinensis var. Wilson. In autumn, the fruits are harvested when they are ripe, peeled and dried in the sun or at low temperature.
 

Properties: the product is oblate or quasi spherical, like chestnut, 1.5-4cm in diameter. The surface is brown or brown, more wrinkled, uneven, slightly glossy; the navel is light, nearly round, accounting for about 1 / 4 to 1 / 2 of the seed area; there is a protruding ridge on one side, some are not obvious.
