It is also known as the American coneflower. Polyphenols and Chicoric Acid are two main active ingredients in Echinacea purpurea extract. Echinacea purpurea extract is a traditional herbal remedy for the symptomatic relief of colds, influenza type infections and similar upper respiratory tract conditions.

 

Cichoric acid is a kind of water-soluble phenolic acid extracted from the whole dry grass of Cichorium intybus. It has the function of anti-tumor, anti-tumor and inducing apoptosis. It can also protect collagen from degradation of free radicals by hyaluronidase.It can clear away heat and toxin, diuresis and detumescence; it is mainly used for damp heat, jaundice, nephritis, edema, epigastric distension, anorexia, etc
