Colistin Sulphate is an antibiotic which is anti gramnegativebacilli, it has bactericidal effect for most of gramnegativebacilli.
Especially for bacillus pyocyaneus,it also has a better sterilization effect for escherichia coli, salmonella, shigella dysenteiae, influenza bacillus, bordetella pertussis, aerobacter and pneumobacillus and so on.

Colistin Sulfate is an white or off white powder. stinkless,bitter and hygroscopic, freely soluble in water,slightly soluble in methanol and ethandal, Insoluble in acetone,enther,etc.Its free base is slightly soluble in wather.Stable under PH Value 3-7.5.
The Colistin Sulphate has EP grade, CVP grade ect.. The product has obtained animal drug GMP from Ministry of Agriculture of P.R.China and CEP from EDQM.
